An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.
Essential Functions A n individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Provides customer service by acknowledging the customer; identifying customer needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; r esolving customer issues and concerns; and promoting products and services, while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Maintains area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns; zoning the area; a rranging and organizing merchandise/supplies; identifying shrink and damages; and ensuring a safe work environment.
Maintains inventory accuracy for the facility by binning and picking merchandise utilizing the inventory management system; completing bin audits; w orking inventory exceptions; and correcting shelf capacities.
Operates equipment, such as cash registers and related tools, to process Customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment t ypes and items sold.
Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise; removing damaged or out-of-date goods; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; signing and pricing merchandise appropriately; inspecting merchandise to ensure a fresh and clean presentation; and s ecuring fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
Helps generate new business and associated revenue by actively promoting department services and offerings to customers; responding to customer inquiries and requests; helping customers register for department services; and soliciting feedback from customers about their online shopping e xperience.
Receives and stocks merchandise throughout the facility and organizes and maintains area by following company safety, cleaning, and operating procedures; utilizing equipment appropriately; setting up displays; maintaining modular integrity; receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering m erchandise; and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
Fulfills customer orders by reviewing orders; locating, preparing, and packaging merchandise; ensuring the accuracy of orders prior to pick up; making appropriate product substitutions and consulting with customer as needed to ensure satisfaction; and following up on out-of-stock m erchandise.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; a nd applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and r ecommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
