Savance is a Software as a Service (SaaS) organization that has created a suite of products targeted towards providing accountability, safety, and security solutions to a wide array of businesses.
Specifically, this role will support the CEO who is actively involved in all aspects of the business.
You will help support the software development life cycle, the Marketing team, the Sales team, the Support and Deployment teams, and the Accounting and HR team.
Savance is a 25
year old business that still operates as a startup, but has been growing consistently year over year by about 20%.
Since Savance is in its growth phase, the focus has shifted towards scaling departments and optimizing processes so they can grow faster and be the best at what they do.
To do this, they need a highly organized, highly intelligent candidate that is a natural problem solver.
This candidate should be self-motivated and efficient with a proven track record of achievement with everything they put their mind to.
This can be an opportunity to get some exposure to careers in business and technology while the candidate is taking undergraduate courses or it can be a gateway into a long term career with Savance for any determined individual.
It may even be an opportunity for a highly experienced sales, marketing, or executive assistant to bring their experience to the table to help take a small business like Savance to the next level.
About the CEO:
The President/CEO of Savance is also one of the original founders.
To this day, he is one of the most dedicated and hardest-working individuals you will ever meet.
His passion for Savance; the solutions the company creates and delivers; and the customers that trust in Savance is deep and infectious.
He has an A-type personality that most would call a perfectionist.
He sets the bar high for himself and for others.
Though he expects a lot, he motivates best by setting the example and holds himself to the same standards as he expects of his team.
He is looking to find someone who is comfortable working with someone like this, and that has many of these same attributes.
He'd like to find a candidate who can help him accomplish more by taking ideas, turning them into action items, and through their own hard work - and by leveraging the rest of the team - execute on those action items.
The CEO has never had an Executive Assistant, so this is an entirely new role with loosely defined responsibilities.
The right person should be able to come in, build trust, and take over as many tasks as possible that can free up the CEO and allow him to be better organized and more productive.
