Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and welcoming Front Desk Team Member to join our orthodontic team.
Our front desk team is The Team of First Impressions and as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, have a smile you can see and hear, inherant attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
We are looking for the person who will bring the best version of themselves to work everyday.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming greeting complete with a smile Schedule appointments and manage the schedule efficiently Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance-related data entry and preparation Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, electronic data organization and patient correspondence Collaborate with clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and in an organized fashion in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills, including experience with dental software (e.
g.
, Ortho 2 Edge, Microsoft and Google Suite) Understanding of dental insurance policy parameters as it applies to orthodontic treatment Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment We are looking for someone to join our team 3-5 days a week.
Approximately 24-40 hours.
Must work in both our Commerce Twp.
and Farmington Hills offices.
The right candidate will be scheduled to work in both locations on a regular basis.
