05 a year Duties:
Setup appointments as needed.
Communicate effectively with carriers, shippers, consignees, and customers regarding all aspects of loads and business.
Enter data for all new loads and all revisions.
Prepare, verify and revise (as needed) customer and carrier order confirmations.
Review load documentation and bills of lading for accuracy.
Assist with necessary information to help settle loads and invoice customers.
Assist shippers requesting copies of invoices and proof of deliver (POD).
Assist in resolving carrier issues on settlement checks.
Resolve unbilled orders, requesting paperwork from carriers.
Complete any other reasonable tasks as related to the job.
Skills:
- Strong sales and account management skills with a proven track record in logistics sales - Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices - Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software for tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions - Familiarity with FDA regulations for the transportation of perishable goods (if applicable) - Experience in dispatching or working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
