Position
Summary:
The Inventory Control Analyst supports the Inventory Managementfunction, helping to control the level and flow of product inventory.Key responsibilities include:
Analyze supply flow for multiplecompanies and product lines
Identify and execute appropriate actionto remedy supply flow shortfalls (transfers, diversions, branch plantshipping changes, warehouse project, etc)
Communicate with Key Account group andSales group regarding delayed supply flow
Coordinate warehouse projects withSales/Marketing, Procurement and warehouse and track/monitorprogress
Analyze unforecasted customer orders forapproval/cancellation
Allocate customer & web orders
Prepare and monitor container dispatchreports for incoming product
Identify containers as hotand log on shared Hot List with Logistics team
Participate in system testing as neededfor new projects/system enhancements
Training of coworkers
Requirements
Experience Required:
JDE, PeopleSoft, Oracle or other
warehouse/supply chain management system
5
years experience in Inventory Control,
Warehouse, Import/Export, Purchasing or Forecasting in a supply chain
environment a plus
APICS Certification
Associates Degree or equivalent
Microsoft Outlook email and calendar
Microsoft Word and Excel
