Summary:HoMedics has immediate need of a senior-leveltechnical resource that will reportdirectly to the Development Manager; leading a small team ofdevelopers, to maintain and grow current Business Intelligencedevelopment practices and solutions.

Summary:The currenttechnical environment at HoMedics includes:Business Objects, Crystal Reports, MS SQL Server,Data Integrator, DBMoto, Qlikview, Visual Basic .NET, AS/400, JDEdwards Enterprise One, Warehouse Management (formerly PkMS), andWebMethods. Most of our reporting data is sourced (extracted andtranslated) from our JD Edwards Enterprise One ERP system over to SQLserver.
Responsibilities for this positioninclude:
Designingand managing mission critical data mart / warehousing & reportingsolutions.
Workingwith the Development Manager and CIO to takevisionand turn it intodeliverable, usablesolutions.
Workingwith the BI developers on staff to coordinate efforts for deliveringthe right solutions at the right time.
Taking anactive role in planning for and shaping the long-term strategy, toolsand platforms that will support the delivery of Business Intelligencesolutions at HoMedics in the years to come; taking into account themaintainability, scalability, and sustainability of the datawarehousing and reporting solutions to meet the strategic needs ofthe business, and to stay current on skillsets andtechnology.
Ensuringthe general quality and timeliness of the BI team'sdeliverables.
Understanding the overall business, application and datalandscape in order to assess the impact of change and to resolvetechnical issues as they arise.
Taking anactive role in maintaining and improving BI Report Developmentpractices, standards, procedures, and controls (e.g., documentation,development and testing).
Taking anactive role in developing backup coverage/support within the group interms of cross-training and backfilling of variousfunctions.
In order to better serve the business, viable candidates shouldalso be able to demonstrate experience, knowledge, and interestoutside of a strictly BI role:
Having a good understanding of packagedgoods/distribution businesses and the systems required to runthem.
Having experience working with and understanding theuse of ERP systems (including general order-to-cash andforecast-to-pay processes).
Withthe ability to quickly learn and understand a given business and theneeds thereof, in order to better deliver value-addsolutions.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:ABachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or universityin Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a relatedfield; and Two (4) years of directly related experience.- OR -An Associate's Degreein Applied Science in a Technical Program in an applicable area ofInformation Technology; and Four (4) years of directly relatedexperience.
RequiredSkills/
Experience:
Provenexperience developing and delivering robust BI solutions: from datasourcing and transformation to report and dashboarddevelopment.
Previousexperience working extensively with current ETL tools. Includingsetup, configuration, ongoing maintenance, support, andtrouble-shooting. Data Integrator and/or DB Moto experience ispreferred but not required as long as candidate can demonstrateexperience with other similar tools and the ability to learn newtoolsets.
Experienceas a Senior Developer or Team Lead; leading a small team ofdevelopers in medium
sized (BI related) projects.
Experiencewith multiple BI Development Tools.Business Objects, Qlikview, and Crystal Reportspreferred.
Strong SQLdevelopment skills.
Strong SQL server management/support skills.Including an understanding of databaseadministration, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Provenability to work directly with users and management to gatherrequirements, provide status updates, and build good relationshipsand good rapport.
Strongcommunication and Leadership skills.
Abilityand willingness to work in a team environment and adopt a culture ofownership and initiative.
Experienceworking with ERP systems and financial data; preferably (but notrequired) JD Edwards.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
