The role of a Sr. Security Engineering Consultant is to assist the
sale organization in qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, and assisting with solution demonstrations and implementations.
The security consultant will also be Nuspires technical expert in
areas of security, compliance, and network design. Methods of
accomplishing this vary in day-to-day responsibilities and include, but are not limited to,staying abreast of new threats and vulnerabilities, monitoring market conditions and the managed security market space, learning new products and technologies to aid in the above goal, consulting with clients and providing advice, and working with co-workers to educate them on the threats and vulnerabilities our prospects and existing clients are potentially exposed to.
Continuously evaluate, identify and implement opportunities to enhance the information security profile of our clients and Nuspire. Work with security tools, engineers, and processes to investigate and resolve intrusion detection/prevention alerts, network traffic anomalies, and system vulnerabilities.
Assist in development and creation of marketing material.
Help develop white papers, case studies, and other research documentation for publishing to news organizations, clients, and/or the company website.
Public speaking as a subject matter expert in the managed security services industry.
Be able to implement Nuspires solutions inside of a customers network for purposes of demonstration or pilot programs. Then work with the engineering and project management teams to roll out the solution across the customers entire networks.
Proactively maintain a thorough knowledge of technologies, processes, controls, and monitoring of information technology security systems.
Maintain and enhance expertise in security systems, hacking techniques, penetration methodologies, security risk assessments, and forensics investigations.
Identify system configuration discrepancies and inadequacies that may compromise infrastructure security levels.
Maintain the security related process and procedure documentation for Nuspire and templates for clients, including but not limited to security event detection, tracking, trending, alerting and incident analysis.
Candidate will train employees and clients to run Nuspires systems and tools.
Certifications preferred include:
ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacking
EC-Council Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator
GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst
GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst
GIAC Security Essentials Certification
Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (QSA)
Experience preferred is:
8
years of network/security administration
Presales engineering experience
Experience working for or with large organizations with many locations
Experience with a wide variety of network and security solutionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
