Position Description/Responsibilities:
As a result of our tremendous growth, we are seeking multiple entry level Support Desk Technicians for remote phone support. Focus of the job will be assisting remote customers with their questions about any of our supported software and computing platforms to the best of their ability in a professional and courteous manner. In addition, responsibilities will include:
Respond to incident calls and emails from users on support related issues.
Provide Tier One remote troubleshooting support on desktop, software and browser issues
Follow provided procedures for remote user password resets
Follow provided procedures for new user creation, user updates and user terminations in Active Directory, Oracle, Red Prairie and Siebel
Escalate unresolved cases to relevant onsite and remote support teams
Document all reported incidents and help identify trends to assist in future problem resolution
Configuration of equipment for customers
Required Skills:
Computer troubleshooting
Windows XP to 8 knowledge
Customer service
Professional writing style
Phone etiquette
Excellent judgment skills to be able to properly evaluate situations and immediately provide effective solutions
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Education/Certifications/Training Required:
Associate Degree in any IT related course of study, or equal experience in enterprise environments.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
